Job Description

Blessings! For Seniors And Home Care Resources are Non-medical home care companies serving the Valley since 2005. Blessings! is the recipient of the "Best in Home Care” designation for outstanding customer service for the last 5 years. Our caregivers are the reason we provide exceptional customer service and earned this award. We are accepting applications for Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria area. We are flexible and will work with you to find the client that meets your schedule needs. 

If you do not have a DCW certificate, Blessings! For Seniors offers you an opportunity to earn the certificate.

We understand that in today’s economy you may have to work with more than one agency. The DCW certificate is a State of Arizona mandated training program and having this certificate will help you obtain employment at other companies as well.

Skills / Requirements

The following requirements are necessary to be considered for hire: Must have compassion, be flexible and have the willingness to do what it takes to meet our client’s needs including personal and dementia care.

Strong work ethic

Have a current negative TB test

Ability to read, write and speak English

Have current CPR/First Aid certifications

Be able to lift 50 lbs

Have reliable transportation

Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Successfully pass a Criminal Background check

Pass a pre-hire drug screen

Have a clean 39 month MVD record

Reliable transportation and proof of insurance

Duties include but not limited to:

Companionship

Meal preparation and clean-up

Grocery shopping

Light housekeeping

Personal care including:

Incontinence care

Bathing

Caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementia’s

Medication reminders

Incidental transportation
